    Jack Dempsey hands down.

    First fighter to draw a million $ gate, and he would draw that amout evey time he fought after that event. Only the Gibbions fight failed to draw a million. Even the non title fight with Sharkey was a million gate. Tunney sure didnt draw that vs Heenly. Dempsey had that star power and drawing power that Louis and Marciano lack.

    Joe Louis was only in one million $ gate, and that was vs Baer.

    Marciano non.

    I think the million gates didnt start happening until Ali came around I belive.
