:lol: first it's ridiculous that he's the champ...

Now you're acting like it's ridiculous that he's the champ:

    What suits, I guess.

For the record: No, he's not.

On record he his which backs my case that the title has been cheapened and lost its meaning in todays age.

So Wlad vs Chagaev was for the Lineal Championship because the Ring title was on the line?

Vitali retired so the Ring belt became vacant and then Wlad and Chageav fought for it. Because it was for the vacant Ring title, is Wlad becoming the Lineal Champ justified since Chageav has never won it?

 SO you're like "how can he be champion when he's not beaten Pacquiao?!?"

And i'm like "actually he's not the champion, and that's why so calm down. YOU ARE RIGHT."

And you're like "NO HE IS THE CHAMPION WHICH PROVES ME RIGHT."

    F.f.s.

Is there a difference between "linear" and "Lineal"?

Then why wasn't Wlad vs Chagaev televised by HBO or Showtime if that was for the Lineal Heavyweight Championship of the World?

First of all i don't think it was for the title, and i've made that as clear as can be in the thread.

Second of all, I think what a given television company, one of many around the world, does and doesn't do has literally nothing to do with what title changes hands when.

But that fight was for the Ring title which Vitali vacated .........

Yea, i read in the thread where you say Wlad-Povetkin was for the Lineal Championship. Why?

Wlad vs. Chagaev wasn't considered a lineal title fight. Wlad vs. Povetkin was.

Regardless of that, where did HBO and Showtime guarantee to broadcast a lineal HW championship fight no matter how little interest there is in the US for the fight? They're in the business of showing fights that their audience is interested in. Usually that means at least one of the fighters carries marketing potential for HBO/Showtime.

What made Wlad vs Povetkin a fight for the Lineal Championship? Is it because Povetkin had the regular WBA Title?
