Bob Fitzsimmons was 40 when he won the world light heavyweight title.

Recently Tarver and Hopkins were in their 40's while winning the light heavyweight title (Tarver only won a version of it against Woods). Actually Tarver had not yet turned 40.

 

I'm not sure how old he was but I read that Dado Marino was already a grandfather when he won the World Flyweight title.

That has to be unique.

 

He must have had a slutty grandaughter...he was only in his 30's when he won it.

Roberto Duran, i think was the oldest middleweight champ at something like 37.

I think Archie Moore was older than Fitzsimmons when he won the light heavyweight title, he was in his late 40's. It may have been the Linear title, im not totally sure. Feel free to correct me on this one!.
