    Tony "TNT" Tu..

.... I really dont know. They should've fought to settle it.

Shame neither of them really lived up to that nickname. The only thing explosive about Tubbs was his rapidly expanding waistline, and Tucker was more of a stink bomb than a stick of dynamite.

A good nickname does not (always) need to fit; Bomber Graham; Iron Mike; Bonecrusher Smith; Razor Ruddock; Terrible Terry (Norris; granted he nicked it); Cobra Curry; Buster Douglas; they just need to roll off the tongue IMO.

I think Tubbs would have outboxed Tucker!

Both turned pro in 1980; I think Tubbs was first by a half of a year, but Tucker may have hit harder. I feel it was Tubbs.

At the beginning, judging by what I've seen, I would say Tucker. He seemed to have more power than Tubbs.

Hal 'TNT' Carroll came before either of them.
