On You tube, Ali and Clint Eastwood on one of those chat shows, Carson or similar, Ali said he was 6’ 2.

    96?? Amazing!
Good for you and it’s fantastic to have someone with your knowledge back again. I’m glad you’re keeping well but I’m sorry to hear that your wife is having a rough time of it.

All the best with everything going forward sir.

    He's likely between 6'2 and 6'3"

He looked slightly shorter than Holmes who was a legit 6'3", if that matters

Not sure Frazier would have beat the Ali of the Terrell fight. I wouldn’t pick any fighter over prime Ali.

Tom Sharkey had far too much pluck for Ali.

I have heard boxing being called the game of inches- here on the forum it is called the game of vertical inches.... not even the fun kind.

There is often slight exaggeration of height, such as Tyson & Frazier at 5' 11" & 1/2, Marciano 5' 10.5".

Langford looks really good on film.
Most amazing, they used special, now obsolete film technology to camouflage his true size.
He would leap up at lightning speed each time he connected-of necessity, more dramatic than Patterson's Gazelle punch-effectively more like bounding blows of say a Pronghorn Antelope or running kangaroo.

Because you see, Sam was really about 11" tall, tops.
