Hardest fighter to stop in the history of boxing? Not asking for the toughest chin, but simply the guy who you can't see being stopped, ever, by anyone at his weight class. It can be a great defensive fighter with great recooperating skills and toughness like Whitaker or someone with a granite chin like McCullough, or just someone so skilled with their defense like a Mayweather.

Who would you say? In their primes?

My picks: Hagler, Monzon, Hopkins, Greb, Ali, Toney, Calzaghe, Whitaker, Mayweather, Pryor, Gavilan, maybe a few more.

Robinson was an obvious one I left out. McCallum is a pretty good shout as well, not one that would usually come to mind.

Chris Eubank may have been unstoppable at the weight.

I'd say Greb, but we saw serious broken bones stop him, where we've seen some boxers continue with them. Hard to beat him otherwise though.

    How about McClellan?

Guy kept punching until he literally died on his feet, and took what Julian Jackson threw at him, twice.

Interesting picks for sure...Talking of boxers fighting with broken bones, it reminded of Gene Fullmer...I think he fought the last three rounds against Florentino Fernandez with a broken arm!
    Old school toughness right there.

Yeah, I heard a story of a guy who broke both hands in the ring and finished several rounds that way.

He was crying when they took his gloves off at the end.

Grim was knocked out later in his career.

    As was Cobb.

    lewis :yep

    haha..

calzaghe for me - somehow you get the feeling that being unbeaten means so much he would go through anything to keep it - two broken hands, cuts - he'll go through anything to protect that "0"
