Ali. 3rd reign.
One of the most important fight in Heavyweight history Richard. Certainly one of the most famous.
I still remember when the radio commentator then announced, There Has Been A Knockout, My older brother and I just looked at each other. Then the commentator announced that Muhammad Ali became the second man in history to regain the title, Floyd Patterson was the first. My brother and I embraced each other.
Ah ah I can just picture that Richard!
We've all done it, heard an amazing result and gone crazy. That buzz when it's an upset or a favorite fighter wins. Great memories my friend.
Thanks my friend.

Micheal Spinks was the Lineal Champion + IBF Champion.
Tim Witherspoon was the WBA Champion.
Trevor Berbick was the WBC Champion.
I think it was Buster Douglas.
Depends on the state. If you were in Illinois, like I was, it was Joe Frazier. In 40+ other states, it was Jimmy Ellis.
John L Sullivan.
Ali had just regained it from Spinks.
