Who was ultimately better, Haugen or Pazienza?

We know the record books say Paz won two out of three, though most observers felt the first fight was a hometown robbery win for him.

Who was better, head to head?

And who overall had the better career?

For me Haugen was the better fighter. Haugen was a very very well schooled boxer. Btw I had Haugen winning 2 out of 3.

I always considered Haugen to be the more accomplished fighter both in terms of resume and skills.

Paz to me was a rah rah sort of guy with a ton of heart , half way decent speed, good stamina and a very good chin .. I liked Haugen better but say they were about equal ..

Glad to hear your answers. I prefer Haugen, too.

I think Vinny was better. Moved up and fought ok at 168... To me moving up proves a little in that he proved he could modify his style. I could never see Haugen move up too far.. I think Greg was good, but he was not as versatile as Vinny and not as fast. Greg was probably more of a all around fighter, Vinny was a little show and forced speed, but I think he proved more to me. By a little. Both were good fighters.

I like the boxer Haugen at his natural lightweight classification as best. But if you are going out honky-tonkin' with Vinny, then you know there will be Playboy Bunnies along for the ride....with the standard "side benefits".

Greg Haugen. He won both fights as lightweights. Paz roided up and won a belt at 54 but H2H it's Haugen. Pazienza is perhaps the only boxer I really didn't like borderline hated. He is A dirtbag

Haugen. By a country mile. And no roids.

You are going pretty hard on a guy who broke his neck, wore a "halo" for awhile, and came back to fight again. lol !!!

Sound like he may have earned his "Red Wings":

    Bleed for This
The film had its world premiere at the 43rd Annual Telluride Film Festival on September 2, 2016, and was released in the United States on November 18, 2016, by Open Road Films. It received generally positive reviews but was a box office disappointment, grossing just $6.7 million against its $6 million budget

Haugen was better...he proved it in their first two bouts. That third fight was an abberation...Paz ran, ran, and ran like a thief in that fight.
