I had marquez up by one at end of 5th, manny was evening the fight by 2:58 into 6th.... Then it was LIGHTS OUT

marquez invested heavily into the body early on, and many underated this or didn't give him credit for his shots at the right kidney and midrift. Those were scoring shots.

Even in the big exchanges in rounds 5, marquez was firing huge shots to pacs body. No doubt pac was getting the better in those wild exchanges, but marquez invested into the body big in this fight. Round 1 was marquez round in my book, close round but his clean hits to the body especially under pacs right elbow were key to winning the first.

Had Pacquiao up by a point. Thought he looked great actually, very quick and lively. I still think he's got a lot left.

Had the fight even coming after Rd. 4, when Manny turned on the heat and busting up Juan pretty good on Rds. 5 and 6 on the way to getting a 2-3 pt advantage in my eyes when suddenly, BAM! The punchstats had Pac way ahead too, though the punch volume is pretty much even.

    This.

I gave him round one, by a hair, but thought JMM took the second, also by a hair.

I'm no Pac lover, but he did seem to be connecting a little bit more than in their previous fights. He was fighting a little bit closer than in III, and it helped.

Very interesting that he looked smaller, & faster, having eschewed that "magical" Ariza training this time around. If the fight had gone the distance, I'm sure Pac would have won. (for the first time.)

I thought the two aside from rounds 3 and 6 Pac won every round and he was winning the 5th before getting ktfo.

Probably the best Pac has ever fought against jmm but he got over confident and careless leaving himself wide open like that twice.

    Great fight.

I had Pacquiao up by one round, and about to win the six, before that beautiful counter punch by Marquez

Had JMM up but only very slightly and Pac was starting to get the better of exchanges. Saw some differences in this fight as opposed to fights before it. JMM clearly wanted a knockout, this was evident from round 1. He invested heavily in the body with a beautiful body attack. He wanted to slow Pac's jumping in and out. Now whether that KO blow came as a result of that body attack there is no way to be sure. But he was throwing heavy punches, huge overhands(like the one that downed Pac) and he wasn't as patient as he typically has been and it got him in a little trouble.

Still, great fight, great ending, and it was a beautiful show considering how ****ed up the rest of the fights were.

It was equal with most people having Pacquiao ahead by 1 round up intill that point INCLUDING the judges

    Great judges...

Ironically, the first time the judges were getting the scores right, no need for the scorecards
