My father hates boxing, most of my family does. My mom liked Ali and Leonard though, mostly as celebrities but my grandfather was a general sports fan so he'd watch the odd fight.

A lot of his relatives (including a woman, weirdly) had the nickname Kid following Kid Berg.

Johnny Tapia was one of his favorites as well, and Duran too.

My dad got me into boxing too. He was old school. Born in 1928. Loved Ezzrad Charles. I remember watching Arguello getting beat by Pryor. I was very up set. He was and still is in top 3 favorite fighters.

What? Were you watching boxing during that time or you just watched old video's. Don't ruin my image of you. I figure you to be in your early to mid 30's talking **** on here. Not some old grouchy man. LOL

My grandparents adopted me and my grandfather who was born in 1921, I call my father. So it's a technicality. Still, I am a bit of a grouchy old man.... I'm 42. But for what it's worth I look 32.:D

My great Uncle was a absolute Snooker nut. He loved watching and playing it, along with lawn bowls and cricket!.

The only sport or pastime that didn't involve 'balls' that he liked was horse racing.

    He loved a flutter too.
