I don't get why Wlad was not criticised before this fight for his ecessive holding but It's different with Ruiz and Ruiz has stopped It.

It's the Eastern euro and American kids In the general forum that so horrible bias for Wlad.

What are peoples thoughts on the batting down of jabs Klitschko was doing?

    Completely illegal, but effective

I think they were the most aggressive "punches" he threw all night

I thought that too but just to play devils advocate could it be considered parrying?

Yes they were effective & contributed to it being such a dull fight. It further hindered Iggy's chances of setting up any attacks.

If Klitschko is the best in the division what does that say about the heavyweights?

I hope this bout doesn't put off Sky/Setanta from showing anymore HW title fights, it was the first one I can remember being on in ages

It can't have helped can it? They certainly wouldn't pay a lot of money for a Klitschko/Chagaev bout that would probably pan out similairly.

True, especially after Chagaevs showing against Skelton.

Maybe Povetkin is the guy to set the division alight.....................................or Roman Greenberg:yep

I'm hoping it does put them off. The heavyweight division is so bad that it's very annoying we get last night's snoozefest and don't get Vazquez-Marquez III.

I'm no Klit fan but I thought it was effective parrying.
