The best episode is when Alfonso Gomez beats Manfredo - fantastic stuff. Peter Manfredo's dad was great as well.

Great show. Season 1, lots of up and coming fighters at the time, couple of guys giving it one last shot. So many different personalities that season. Season 2, all veterans pretty much, K-9 and Grady Brewer's underdog stories were the main themes. Season 3, not many storylines, Jaidon Codrington destroying guys on the way to the final was memorable. That Vera KO looks a lot better now doesn't it?

I agree. Season 1 was the best by far.

I enjoyed the 1st and 3rd seasons, but the 2nd was my favorite. It did my heart good to see old, worn out, Grady Brewer box the ears right off Vinroy Barrett and Micheal Stewart, and then beat Bravo. He beat those guys basically with one hand. He was recovering from rotar cuff surgery, and shouldn't have even been there. And then in the finale he beat the odds on favorite in Steve Forbes. Ya gotta luv a great under dog story!

Grady was a much better fighter than his record would indicate. He always had to hold down a full time job., so he never had proper training. A few of his losses were not losses at all. He just got screwed. He also took fights with Pavlik and Taylor on VERY short notice.

Brewer made a lot of mistakes with his career. In my opinion he could have been a VERY good welterweight, and will always be a story of what might have been.

...actually the word has been that some of the top up and comer cruiserweights are in process of negotiations right now. If it was to fall through this could be the best season yet. There was a thread circulating about it a few weeks back.
