Who were Boxing's best, who fought in one division?

    Actually, he is the only guy I consider worthy of the term great the past 20 years. Lots of very goods, but only 1 great.

    Because heavyweights, sort of by default MUST fight within a single division. Due to the rather gargantuan sizes and proportions of the modern day heavyweight, how many of them do you ever hear of, outside of Chris Byrd's debacle recently, that ever drop down to cruiserweight to take a fight?

    The best who fought in a single division, but leaving out Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, etc? That's why I wondered why it was obvious. Plus, there are many light heavies and cruisers that became serious HW guys...
