Ramos (for 11 days, then Saldivar)
Light Heavy: Foster
Feather: Vacant; Marcel and Jofre giving up their claims
Bantam: Soo Hwan Hong
Fly: Chartchai Chionoi
I was born in a golden era, with all five of the heaviest weights having claimants who were in the debate for the finest in their division of the Queensberry Rules era. Jofre too was in the debate at 126 and Marcel was not so shabby. Bantamweight and Flyweight were in transition, but the Bantams would be bouncing back strong in a matter of months as Zamora and then Zarate rise to the top.
Monzon to me always looked younger than his age.
Great Thread. This adds perspective on our opinions.
I was born when just about every champion was or went on to be an ATG in their respective division.
As per Ring Magazine -
Heavy : Rocky Marciano
Lt Heavy : Archie Moore
Middle : Carl 'Bobo' Olson
Welter : Carmen Basilio
Lightweight : Wallace Smith
Featherweight : Sandy Saddler
Flyweight : Pascual Perez
HW: None (technically Tyson or Lewis)
I used this Ring Magazine image. Check it out. Also, BW apparently had no lineal or Ring Champ for 30 years?!

This needs to evolve into a “the champs on the day I was born would whip the champs on your birth date” bragging rights thread.
I am sure we have had grippier
Oh good...please don't leave the forum!!! Lol..
Not sure what age you are but I'd say I'm younger
I'm 17. If you started primary one in 2015, you're definitely younger than me.
By definition they cannot go on to be ATG, they already are, before they are even born, hence the reason we know the future, there are no more all time greats!
Yea 16 you got a full year on me
It is damn post-modernists that do me in!
