i'd say anyone from the 1900s-1920s. those guys were real awkward and herky jerky, could be because of film quality though, but idk how good fighters of today would do against these past guys. those guys back then didn't look that good but their styles were based off of the same fundamentals fighters use today but they fought more rounds more often so that being said, past fighters are always better. but who was really ugly to watch? jess willard to me has the ugliest style ive seen, i'm not a fan of fitz films either

John Ruiz, John Ruiz, and John Ruiz round out my top three ugliest fighters to watch. (His fight against David Tua was, however, a thing of beauty)

Wlad is sometimes unbearable to watch; pity because his younger self was sensational.

Gene Fullmer - the most awkward but effective style going. His left was like a swipe and you'd better hang onto both his arms in clinch if you didn't want to be hit on the top of the head, the back of the head, the kidneys, etc. It was awful but effective.
