Barrera was good but there have been many better fighters than him.

No, Honeyghan wasn`t more powerful than Bud and would be switch-hit into oblivion, Spence and Honeyghan are/were not on Bud`s level.

Khan was just running around pot shotting, Canelo started to set traps for him by going to the body, it was just a matter of time.

Difficult to say he was not world class looking at his resume where he defeated a lot of world champions and top contenders at 126 pounds. Yes eventually he lost to Barrera but Barrera was a truly great fighter an all time great so no disrespect in that. Naz had an unorthodox switch hitting style with excellent speed and punching power. Yes he had flaws but most fighters do.

I don`t think he was a good switch hitter.

Yes he is. You seem to forget Bud is lightweight moving up who has not yet face an elite Welterweight except for a shot Brook who was out boxing him until he got caught and no longer has punch resistance.

Brook hardly landed anything but a few crisp jabs and still has good hand speed, Honeyghan ws too reckless and had a crap corner "Are you tired Lloyd?" Mickey Duff to Honeyghan after several rounds of punching Starlings arms, the most amateur display ahgainst the high guard in a big fight aside from Benn v Watson, again Benn`s naff corner kept saying "steam him" WTF?

okay and I will except Naz was highly talented, just badly schooled by his teams aside from Steward who he didn`t even listen to in his corner because he had another idiot in his corner too when he fought Barrera.

Honeyghan was reckless against Starling who was defensively perfect that night and he had to be because you saw how his legs wobbled in round 3 when an overhand right cross from Lloyd hit his head. Mickey Duff was many things but he was not crap nor was American trainer Jimmy Williams. Lloyd just lost the script that night because of the venom he had for Starling.

Harry Carpenter mentioned at the end of the third that Honeyghan looked very tired indeed and Starling poked his chin out after being rocked taunting Lloyd.
