QUOTE="clum, post: 20626677, member: 115825"]No one's mentioned Lloyd Honeyghan yet. For a couple of years he was just destroying people. The one-punch knockout of Gianfranco Rosi (who was a natural 154-pounder) was particularly brutal.[/QUOTE]

I saw a lot of Honeyghan heavy handed, but I never thought of him as a top end banger.

Why wasn`t Cerdan overpowered by a hard punching middle like Zale then?

Also no proof Rosi had a chin, he was a spoiler and that would be the reason he survived v any real bangers he might have faced.

Yes, but the 4th hardest hitting welterweight of all time?
He wasn’t that high in his own era.

Hatcher was really a light welter.

I'd rate Robinson as the best puncher at welter, with Hearns up there too.

Garcia just stood off doing a no mas and isn`t a fully fledged welter at all, Spence does not have one punch KO power like Hearns had, not even close.

This guy. Hardly let his hands go but when he landed he made Ernie Shavers look like Slapsie Maxie.
Lopez single handily ruined Ike Quartey's reputation. Gil Glancy had just stated Quartey had the greatest chin he'd ever seen in boxing.
