Was Moorer's chin that weak or was he just caught by a tremendous punch by Foreman?

I don't think it was iron but it's underrated imo

    No way

Losses to Evander and Lennox in non title fights - yes they were close but were non title because Mercer wasn't top tier

Bad losses to an old Holmes and a never was Ferguson.

    So what

Do you see Bruno on this guy's list?

Often you say stuff that just has no logical bearing as an argument to the post you are responding to.

Tyson, Holy and Lewis, of course (in no particular order). Then it should be Bowe.

It was a good shot but Moorer was also stopped by Holy and dropped by Cooper, he was also basdly hurt by Frankie Swindell at 175, no way could Moorer have taken the shots Leewis took v Mercer or the shots that finished off Morrison.

Ferguson did well against a gren Tyson and would have done evenbetter v 90`s Tyson if he was on that kind of form.

People say he has a glass jaw, I disagree. Hence I think it's underrated.

But he was dropped by Cooper, hence not Iron.

Well, if you see the Golota fights solely as W:s, certainly. Then he only has the narrow loss to Holy as his sole blemish.

But if you look at it like Golota beat him from pillar to post and that he beat an ill version of Holy in the rubber, I'm less sure. But, yes, even then he certainly has the best win between them (and over someone who beat Mike twice to boot) even though Tyson beat more ranked fighters, I think. So I probably could go either way on this one.

IMO, Tyson should only get an honorable mention for the 90s simply because he wasn't there for most of it. From 92-95 he was incarcerated. 97-98 his license was suspended. Although, when he was around, he certainly was one of the best. I might put Moorer in his place.

    In the 1990's

    Lewis
    Bowe
    Holyfield

The 4th spot can be argued. Some would say Tyson, but who did he beat in the 1990's? Tua, and Ike beat better fighters in the 1990's, didn't they?

Tua beat Ruiz, Maskaev, and Rahman in the 90s. Rahman, Maskaev, and Izon outboxed Tua for the majority of the fight.

    Ike beat Tua and Byrd.

Tyson beat Ruddock, Bruno, and Seldon. 2 wins over Ruddock are better than any win Tua/Ike have. Ruddock was a top 3 HW at the time (next to Tyson/Holy).

    91' Tyson > Tua/Ike. Not really arguable.
