Who were the top ten lightweights from 1970-1978?

    oh, my mistake. I should have known better. I should have put it together. You didn't have Laguna on there, and I'm like "Who's Ismael Latina?" lol

    I couldn’t see putting Laguna any higher because he wasn’t a factor in the division very far into the 1970s. He defended against Guts Suzuki and Mando Ramos before losing to Buchanan, all in 1970, then in ‘71 a couple of inconsequential wins, a nice victory over Chango Carmona, and a loss to Buchanan in the rematch.

    So by the fall of 1971 he had retired. At his best he’s much higher on that list, but when looking at your time frame that’s about where I thought he fit based on his limited activity during that time.
