I have seen Don King listed as 6' 3" a brief search shows a consensus of 6'2", no way was he 6' 5".
More importantly, many were corrupt, but no, not nearly all of them.

And psychopath Don King was the worst.

Rickard and Jacobs delivered on their agreements.

I'd rather be ripped of by Don King than get on Frank Carbo's bad side...surely he's the worst.

I suppose the difficulty is working out which less-obviously Mafia controlled managers were owned by Carbo, other than the obvious names we know.

Don King at least put on some good cards; how much great boxing / boxers were frozen out by Carbo's IBC tentacles so as to retain control?

Look at Ray Arcel's hiatus as just one example of the damage done - he might never had come back, let alone the mafia's murders.

Primo's manager on the books - Bill Duffy, has to be up there. On the other hand, how much of Primo's purse rap"e was really Duffy's choice?

Jack Kearns. He literally considered his fighters money his, at least with Dempsey and Walker.

Boxing is a known racket, and the biggest losers were fighters. Tell me, who was honest? I doubt very much that question can be answered, honestly.

You will not hear a word against the Hearns from anyone who has worked with them.

Mickey Duff ripped off a Fighter I know for what was then a life changing amount of money. Virtually all of the big names Jack Solomons promoted wound up skint. There are some horrific stories about him.
Paddy and Tommy Lynch never took a cut of a Boxer's purse. Fabulous guys both.
