He's a talented fighter but he's become very gun shy over the past few years. He should've never left the LW division after beating Antonio Demarco; he could've carved out a nice career for himself by gradually going up in weight. His biggest mistake was jumping up directly to WW and assuming he could hang with the big boys after eking out a win over the feather fisted Malignaggi and picking up an alphabet title and than was humiliated right afterward by Maidana. If he's serious about a return than he should target 140 lbs. He's not a WW and anyone in the top 7-8 in that class will beat him in a one sided manner. Truthfully if he could still make the weight, he'd be better off at 135 lbs but I don't think he has the discipline to make the LW limit.
Possible future opponents are a probation officer, D block CO, the AG’s office, his finance manager, Judge Joe Brown, and the possibility of a super fight with Jenny Craig.
Now that he owes nearly $4.5 million he's gonna need to fight Floyd to earn decent money, tough luck A(dult)B(aby)

He looks to be in much better shape in his most recent training videos. I think he will stay at welterweight.

Here's who he's fought: https://151.boxrec.com/en/proboxer/578516 What kind of Broner will we see? Have to admit to still being interested in AB, despite the lunacy he's a good boxer, if frustrating to watch and a larger than life figure.
It will probably be at 154~147, Peak Broner is 135, but matchmakers will never get him a big fight at 135 Broner is very likable, like most Anti-Social people he has that genuine Dramatic energy, whatever Broner does is more exciting than a lifetime of a normal-boring person. This dramatic energy gets him in trouble with the docile-normal population that want him locked-up so they can "feel" less "insecure"[/QUOTE]
