"Fight cancelled" and not "event cancelled". I think Agit Kabayel will step in on short-notice and the event will no longer be PPV. Joshua has worked hard and hopefully he gets out regardless of the opposition level.

Dustin Nichols would be good if they can fly him out from Bama and give him free buffet houses for a week

It would make sense for Joshua's replacement to be someone who is in fighting shape.

It wouldn't surprise me if Gerald Washington is offered money to step aside and Chisora fights AJ.

Will they offer Hrgovic the fight? I have little doubt he'd take it; it's a bigger payday than Usyk and probably a lot more winnable for Hrgovic, especially given it's on 7 days notice and Joshua lost to Ruiz on 3 weeks notice.

Very unlikely that they will offer it to thr croatian. This is literally a much more dangerous fight then whyte, especially after the zhang joyce fight that proved how good he is. I dont think that they are willing to risk the wilder payday

Hrgovic would probably take it but he's spent his whole camp preparing to face a southpaw so it's totally understandable if he didn't. Would E-Hearn and AJ be prepared to take another risk with a dangerous late notice sub again after the Fat Andy debacle, especially with the Dosser fight on the line? Again, if they didn't it would be totally understandable. But the fact Hrgovic has spent his whole camp preparing for a southpaw might be enough to sway them.

I though E-Hearn usually has stand by in the event of something like this happening?

Obvious choice would be Chisora to be honest, makes sense and is a very low risk stand in.

Could find an alternative opponent for Washington then...or just cancel him from the card.
