That would somehow be unfair to Hrgovic, just as it would be unfair to McKean if Hrgovic fights Joshua, another solution needs to be found...

Or pair Joshua with Hrgovic and the available Parker with McKean, that would look like a very good event.

It's happened before, but no doubt McKean would need to be compensated in some way and likely given an opportunity to fight on another big Matchroom event in the future.

I hope it doesnt happen, it is predatory. 7 days to prepare against ex champ. And Hrgovic for 2 years prepared for southpaws, now he gets in in ring with AJ, risks his shot at Usyk - I mean it should be 50/50 split with serious buck for Hrgovic. Different story if it was normal fight, then 80/20. But on the other view - serous buck, even with 60/40 split, winning vs AJ would be more important than a possible shot at Usyk, great risk, great reward.

On AJ side, he risks his career, losing vs Hrgovic would end him, wining puts him on the mandatory spot vs Usyk, I dont know how would that play out, and if it is worth for Hearn. Also Ruiz and Wallin also offered, and are less dangerous than Hrgovic, with almost equal expense.
