I'd actually favour Joyce here if he came in at a healthy weight.

I posted that from possibly AJ and Hearns perspectives. Not saying I agree with it. Just that it could be likely.
Plus it would be an easy bout to set up.

I do agree AJ should fight a live dog however.

But, what we want as boxing fans, and what we get are usually two different things.

I'd be inclined to agree before Joyce's recent performance against Ali. But I'm not entirely sure thats seen as a challenging fight. I almost think people were more skeptical of his ability to beat Ngannou than most would be Joyce now.

Dillian and Joyce may return soon and become decent opponents for a summer matchup.

Other than Fury, Hrgovic and Wilder are the fights for AJ

Either someone who is old/shot or who lacks KO power.

I dont think snyone realky cares about that fight.
Parkers stock is definitly up and hes been doing well but AJ already beat him and its not a great match up. I prefer Joyce over Parker for AJ but definitly Parker over the likes of Whyte, Chisora or Miller.

    You're serious?
It would be a great win for either guy and solidify the number 3 guy, or even number 2 if Fury loses in May

Parker right now would be an awesome scalp on Ajs resume. Yes Joyce is someone different, but right now Parker is definitely best scalp outside of the top 3

Yeah I know but im just not feeling AJ vs Parjer since he already clearly beat him. There are not many good fights left for AJ at the moment and Parker is definitly better than most.
Maybe its just me though. I just think a Joyce fight would be more fun.
I will say that if Parker beats AJ He should be next in line for a title shot with the run he been having lately.

Joyce wouldnt last long walk straight into a right hand and they wont bounce off him in that fight.

Now look ,Kash Ali is hardly a great fighter however he is very much a defensive fighter who fights with a sparring partners mentality when he is the under dog

Joyce was always going to struggle somewhat against that style but he got some rounds in and maybe that was his teams plan?

He also was the first person to actually stop him which people forget

Anyway if Joyce has further title aspirations then fighting AJ at this time is a bad move

However if he is looking to get out the game soon, take the money now as its prob the biggest pay day he will ever get

That's what happened when they fought as amateurs, Joshua basically couldn't miss, walked right through him and forced a stoppage in the first round. Never fancied Joyce's chances vs Joshua even when he was undefeated and had just beaten Parker and was at the height of his career so far. Joyce is a good fighter but he has big holes in his game which certain fighters can exploit and Joshua is one of those fighters.

I'd much prefer Joshua faces Parker, now that Parker seems to be in his prime and has unlocked another level under Andy Lee. I don't think it will be as one sided as the first fight, Parker was one dimensional back then, now he's much smarter and he's earned a rematch in my opinion.

Yeah, Parker would be a good fight, the best available since it seems Hrgovic will face Parker. You can't really fault a fight between the nr. 3 and nr 4 much, especially when nr 1 and nr 2 aren't available.
