Wilder, whyte, or Yoka. A quick win (more than likely) then Fury.

Whyte might have the best chance of the 'name' fighters. Even Fury one-punched him. And it still sells in deluded UK land.

Wilder was still being ducked even after the Parker loss, so probably still too dangerous.

Chisora has apparently always been considered too dangerous, the fighter who fought everyone in the UK never fought AJ, weird. I don't think he was so dangerous really, but they were still worried they'd lose if they couldn't KO him. Maybe beating Joyce made him even scarier.

Ruiz probably still has the PTSD advantage.

Miller still takes a punch better than Whyte.

But it's possible Whyte is also too risky after the KO loss because he can punch.

I would think they'd want someone with less power ideally for any interim opponent.

Maybe it's more likely they just avoid any fights, hope Fury loses and try to sign him to a trilogy and end on that.

I think Whyte is a safe bet for AJ

Whyte is a safe bet for AJ all round.

Even after the shocker of a performance from AJ against Dubois, I still back him to beat Whyte, especially going off the first fight. Whyte has probably declined as a fighter, same with AJ too.

Quick reminder that it was Wilder ducking AJ and he admitted it himself, plus the contracts were signed for the fight in March, but Wilder wet the bed with Parker and Turki lost interest.

Wilder. There's still some interest in that fight and they aren't going to get another chance to make it.

Even a couple of years ago I would have said Ruiz 3. He's become a part-time fighter though and looks worse every time he steps in the ring.

The best route for AJ would be a fight with Wilder which he should win then a tilt against Fury that he’ll probably lose and a final send off fight with Whyte that he should win then retire on a high

    I'd favour him v Wilder.

But if there was to be a fight that Wilder could get up for it would be AJ.

Looking at this stacked division hes what passes for a safe option. Many do not have him in their top 10s.
