Parker is supposed to, but there is talk of a fight with Vlad.......................we will see...........................Vlad wants Fury very badly, and will knock him out, Fury knows this..................Vlad is really too skilled and punches much harder than Fury, too skilled for AJ as well. Vlad would love to fight Wilder, easy knockout................
Looks like Parker, all the noise coming from Parker's camp is that they are happy to fight AJ whenever he is ready which you have to respect, they have gone about their business in the right way & deserve their shot. Pulev & Stiverne clearly don't want the fight at this stage.
It looks more and more likely it's going to be Parker. I suppose it all depends on if Parker gets through against Dimitrenko without any physically problems. It's a fight I'd love to see, far better than Joshua Vs Stiverne or Pulev, two young, unbeaten and hard punching heavyweights, what's not to like?
Hopefully parker. Think that fight will tell us what we need to know about joshua. Honestly i fancy parker to win that fight. Unlike pretty much everyone joshuas faced with the exception of whyte he actually has a decent offense. Only problem i see unlike whyte is he likes to box a bit too much...with a reach of 76 to joshuas 82 could play into aj,s hands a bit. But think his quick hands will give him big problems. Genuine test for joshua.
It looks like the waiting game will continue for Joseph Parker with Eddie Hearn now saying fight details will be announced "this week." With Hearn looking to make Joshua vs Klitschko, Parker might yet find himself on the undercard fighting David Price. It all seems to hinge on whether Tyson Fury is stripped of his titles, and if he is, if it happens in time to get Joshua vs Klitschko made.
I think there is a good chance it will be Parker which is a shame, he is the B-side in this fight as it is and he really has not had enough down time to recover and then properly prepare for the fight while AJ has had a perfect recovery and lead up. Everything will be in AJ's favour for this one so it'd be a shock if Parker won it even though I believe it should (all other thing being equal) be a more competitive match up than people give it credit for.
A soft defence against David Price is my prediction based on all the hot air coming out of the plumbing pipes in the Liverpool area over the previous 2 months and the plumber's 'fight' on Sky at the weekend. Hope to be proved wrong and it is Parker, Wlad or Haye.
