There is fight date set for 2015-04-04 on boxrec. Who will be his next opponet? Kevin Johnson?

I'd like to see him face Dereck Chisora. I think Joshua would stop him easily, or on points.

The type of injury he sustained needs real recovery time or it could easily lead to other skeletal injuries.

I don't think he should start a camp before June. His handlers should back him off his crazy schedule, slow him down and rethink their strategy for him moving forward.

His frame is obviously not suited for 5 fights/yr and continual non stop training as they have committed him to.:-(

I was really looking forward to see how he would do with Johnson as Johnson has faced some good names and it would have been a nice comparison to see how far he has progressed.

So hopefully Johnson will be available for this date. I'd also be happy with Charr who is another well tested opponent who is clearly a gate keeper and no threat like Johnson.

Kevin Johnson is still a good opponent for this stage of his career

Chisora fight is unlikely to happen with him being promoted but Frank War ren, I'd guess the Kevin Johnson fight will still go ahead but at this date instead.

Depends on how badly he injured his back but May or June sounds about right.
Chisora would be a good option, he's hot, KJ is still a good option, someone like Charr or Oquendo too, who could give him rounds.

Chisora would be too risky a fight at this early stage of his career. Chisora may have lost badly to Fury but both Fury and Chisora are far more experienced than a novice who is only in his 2nd year as a pro.

Proven gate keepers who are durable but lack power like Charr or Johnson are a safer choice rather than jumping straight up to fighting a fringe contender like Chisora who could cause an upset like he should have done against Helenius.

Malik Scott would be a decent opponent as well, decent skills but little power and questionable heart.

He's not meant to. He's simply a name opponent that people will know from his fights with Wilder, Chisora and Leapai. He's no worse than Johnson who AJ was meant to fight and he at least has that recent win over Leapai unlike Johnson who has lost his last 3 fights.

AJ is still a prospect who is in the process of building a record he isn't ready yet to be fighting contenders, even fringe contenders, which is why Johnson was meant to be his next opponent. No point in rushing AJ into fighting proven world level operators like when Price got thrown in with Thompson. Little steps are best at such an early point in AJ's career.

I meant I agreed with everything else with your post but just not with Malik Scott being good opponent. Pretty much everything else would be good but no Malik.
