Miguel Cotto......No more. Kelly Pavlik...No more. In america, i think those guys cuda been BIG hits if they kept their undefeated records intact.
if he keeps fighting and starts winning a few more I think Katsidis has a HUGE opportunity to be a star if HBO or SHOWTIME will get on the waggon and market him right....
Actualy if Bute gives his man a re-match and does what he did for 11 and a half rounds last time for a whole fight he has potential to be a star too. but I agree Berto has the talent
HaHa. :nono I see the arrow in your post is pointing at Bute whose on the ground and in lala land. :nut FTW Bute!
I want to say Yuriorkis Gamboa, but i need to see him act a bit more convincing than last time out... I do like Berto.. and Lopez... Watch out for the rise of heavyweight Elijah McCall.. the 20 year old son of (yes you have guessed it ) the king of tears, Oliver McCall, he is very well put together and can bang...
When Kessler hits the US. If he fights some big names like Hopkins, Dawson, Winky etc. then takes on Bute (whos rematch with Andrade should bring some hype) he should get a good following.
It's hard to say any non-American here, because American fans will not support a foreign fighter. They don't even get behind Manny Pacquiao, so there isn't any chance a guy like Lucian Bute will have legions of American fans. And the only way to judge a superstar in boxing is by how popular they are in America, which is a shame because the sport isn't popular there anymore.
