there wont be another superstar until boxing is more accessable to the casual viewer, soon people wont be able to get star status by fighting de la hoya, and just not enough people watch boxing on hbo for fighters to be true superstars imo, if you look at boxing in the uk amir khan gets 7 mil viewers per fight, and arthur abraham is a god in germany, judging how people seem to judge superstardom by how popular they are in america, boxing wont have any new superstars until a fighter can get that sort of fandom/exposure in america
Gamboa, Chad Dawson, Andy Lee, I know he lost to Vera but the fight was exciting and Andy proved he could give it and take it. But if we're talking crossover success I have to go with David Haye, the guy talks a good game, is charming and charasmatic, very good looks and as much as we hate to admit he has some skills.
