Both men have there next three fights just about lined up. If both win all of there fights, who do guys think would deserve more to be fighter of year in 2008.

    Wladimir Klitschko foe's

    # 1 Sultan Ibragimov
    # 2 Alexander Povetkin
    # 3 Tony Thompson

    Kelly Pavlik foe's

    # 1 Jermain Taylor
    # 2 John Duddy
    # 3 Arthur Abraham

That's a strange question since we don't know the circumstances of each suggested victory. Assuming each fight was competitive but a clear win I would have to say Wlad since he unified 2 HW belts in the process.

Since they both will be unifying, who ever wins those fights more impressively will be my fighter of the year.

Overall, the three opponents you list for Kelly are superior to Wlad's three.

Unification means a bit more at HW since it hasn't been unified in such a long time & it is the "flagship division" of boxing.

Oops, didn't read your post yet but I agree. I wouldn't doubt that Wlad would pass on the Thompson mandatory to unify vs. Chagaev instead either. If the WBO forces it he may drop the belt & who would blame him? Unification is far more important than these bull**** mandatory defenses. Look no further than Austin for proof.

Yep. So many good fights on the horizon. Pavlik v Taylor II, Marquez v Pacquiao II, Margarito v Cintron II, Hopkins v Calzaghe.

Wlad battered Byrd bloody, KO'd Austin with one hand behind his back. Made Brewster quit cause Lamon thought he get brain damage from getting jabbed.
    Wlad is king of 2007
