Now the smoke clears on the Bradley vs Alexander bout, and Devon lost his WBC belt, the WBC needs a new "Champ" because Timmy refuses to pay the fee. I really like it that a lot of big name fighters dismiss the belts, but we all know there will be a few guys picked by the WBC in this case who fight for the vacant trinket. WBC Light Welterweight rankings 1. Ajose Olusegun (28-0, 14Ko's - Commonwealth Champion) 2. Erik Morales (51-6, 35KO's - fighting JMM for the vacant LW "Diamond" belt) 3. Ali Chebah (35-1, 28KO's) 4. Paul McCloskey (22-0, 12KO's - EBU Champion) 5. Prawet Singwancha (42-3-2, 25KO's WBC "International" Champion) Will it be Olusegun #1 vs Chebah #3, with Morales tangled up? Will Singwancha's "international" belt give him a shot, or will they maybe paste in Devon again against one of these guys (making it totally paper in the proces). What do you guys think?
This is boxing don't expect that logic will preveil here. There is the posibility that Alexander will remain WBC champion despite the loss.
I see Bradley getting stripped AGAIN so they can put that belt up for Morales-JMM and make them the lightweight diamond and WBC JrLW so they can both try for a 4th weight division.
Bradley should be the WBO, WBC and IBF champ. Can't believe the IBF stripped Alexander for taking a unification bout over a mandatory. Bradley should be only one of two real champs at the weight with Khan. I can now see Judah using the paper title (should he win against Mabuza) as leverage to negotiate a bout with Khan or Bradley. That will be laughable
