Who will be FW's lead PPV fighter this year?

i dont think cleverly has a fan base that will ever grow to ppv level and his boxing surely wont

 

With any sense he'll move Frankie Gavin up fast, have a decent 2010, and a great 2011 when he chucks Gavin in with what is left of the current 140 (still be a decent division I reckon,hopefully less fragmented)

He has the ability. Move him on.

 

If Frank puts any of his fighters on PPV or Sky push him into making PPV shows then they are bigger idiots then I thought. He could have Brook, Mitchell and Cleverly fighting world title fights and still fail to break 100k PPV buys the last thing he needs to do right now is put them on PPV.

who in his stable do you think has the potential to be real box office???

Gavin, Bellew, Stephen Smith. They are 3 years minimum away from being at that level.

You say that Warren needs to step it up. Evidence so far shows thats not happening. He has got Kell Brook vs someone not even ESB members have heard off. He could of made Kell Brook vs Jose Luis Castillo even Zab Judah.

He could made a mega offer to Clinton Woods to fight Cleverly to try and make Clev a star, or even Roy Jones Jnr, Tarver maybe.

Mitchell is coming of a career best win, his next fight is gonna be agaisnt a nobody. stick him in for a title other than the WBO. Marquez and Katisids (both GBP) will keep hold off it for a long time. Get him in with Paulus Moses its a winnable fight. then fights with Valero, Funeka, Guzman, Marquez, Soto, Katsidis are all massive and with marquez and guzman past there prime they are winnable.

This will evaluate them into the big time, and there all winnable fights.

of course he could get a bank loan and offer Manny and Mayweather 50mil each to fight at the 02.

 

No PPV's for Frank this year unless he provides the UK part of a big US card.

The only British fighters even close to PPV are Haye, Khan, Froch and Hatton.

Warren is yesterdays man and will have to take what Sky Sports give him and be happy with it.

I wouldnt be writing Warren off so quickly. He's as crafty as it gets and while he might not be up to much in terms of PPV's, he'll still be laying the foundations for the future. There's probably never a good time to be without a massive name, but he's fortunate that right now he has a clutch of talented, young up and coming fighters at the precise moment he loses the only big name he had.

Brook aint too far away from a world title shot. De Gale already has an Olympic gold medal and name recognition. Gavin has an abundance of talent and might well be moved along faster than other Warren fighters. Billy Joe Saunders still needs to get himself sorted in terms of lifestyle and professionalism but he's young, charismatic and talented.

I'd be fairly confident that at least one of these guys will be making a lot of money for Warren within the next few years.

 

None at the moment that are anywhere near - same as the other promoters in UK other than Hennessey who has Froch on Primetime.

Is Froch v Kessler contracted to Primetime or was only it a marriage of conveniance without alternative coverage? If not I wonder if there is any possibility of Sky bunging this on PPV.
