Because they fight the best to get there and fight the best once they are there and fight often not just once a year or year and a half like most !!!
once they start making $, they tend to lose there hunger for the sport and want to enjoy the money to much. even though they fight on to make more money, they start not to train as hard as they use to. I don't really think think they love it as much. Just my opinion.
I would not count Cotto out yet. He's still young. He needs to do some deep soul searching and psychologically heal himself from his two losses. He needs a good trainer who is not afraid of him and TELLS HIM WHAT HE IS DOING WRONG. Cotto can not be his own boss if not he will continue to have problems in the future.
I really hope Boricua fans (from the Island) gives Omar Henry a chance. I have seen (FIRST HAND) the Cynical nature of Puerto Ricans from the Island when someone on the Family dates and/or Marries someone "Outside Their Culture"...Especailly African American (Omar being Bi-racial Black y Boricua). But he is a great kid...Smart and Humble...and he has a strong understand and appreciation for his BORICUA FAMILY AND CULTURE. And his Boricua side of the family are from one of the most HISTORICAL PUERTO RICAN AREAS IN THE US...HUMBOLDT PARK CHICAGO!!! Man...I hope Boricuas give a chance to truly make an attempt to be his FANBASE!!!! He has everything it takes to be THE PUERTO RICAN BOXING STAR!!!!!
Kermit the Killa Cintron is coming to take names up in this *****, dead or alive. Unfortunately PR has a mediocre line of prospects. Valazques twins and roman martinez aren't superstar material.. Martinez is very limited and a fringe title holder. Cintron is the one.
