This question is a joke. It's not even close. In top 100, manny belongs in the top quarter.
Marquez probably belong in the 4th.

Pacquiao's CV is superior. But there isn't much between them head to head. Stylistically JMM was a puzzle Manny struggled to solve.

Marquez is better H2H but Pac had the better career although most of it is smoke and mirrors 135 and above.

Both are ATGs though and their names will be forever linked together.

Sasakul is not a huge win and fans using their own scorecards is how it will always be with close fights.

I don't see what your masturbation over Pacquiao-Barrera has to do with anything but by all means continue. (PS, it's not the best win in the last 30 years.)

    Not quite.

At Lightweight Marquez has Casamayor and Juan Diaz which are far superior to David Diaz, and at Welterweight KO6 Pac is superior to Pac's wins over Cotto and De La Hoya.

    Pac has 140 and 130.

The lower weights depend on how you personally scored the fights.

The ironic thing about Pac vs Marquez fights - It was Marquez who won his only fight by being the slugger looking for the money shot....it was Pac who won the boxing matches.

How so? He lost the great majority of the rounds in the first three fights and it was only the KDs that kept the fights from being completely lop-sided in JMM's favor.

There's so much wrong with this post. At welter JMM has the fighter you are comparing him with, why is that victory good for JMM? because of whatever Pac did at Welter, or else, it wouldn't mean anything. One win over one guy does not make you one-up his body of work at that weight, that's just stupid.

JMM also looked bad against a SHOT Casamayor at 140 and was hurt by Juan Diaz and struggled. You say all this because again, no one scrutinizes JMM's resume, the most overrated guy of his generation.

Can you imagine Pac struggling and being dead even with a shot Casamayor before KO'ing him? Imagine Pac being beaten from pillar to post if even for a short while like JMM was against Diaz. He'd be crucified.

I can go on and on. Pac's resume destroys JMM's, he's just held to a different standard. The Peetards have gone too far.

JMM did nothing between Pacquiao fights, he just hung around taking so so fights. He only took the Floyd fight because it was a huge payday.

I'm correcting the specific statement, which is that Pac had the better win in each weight class. Obviously Pac was the better welterweight overall.

Marquez did not "look bad" against Casamayor, who wasn't shot. It was competitive and Nacho purposefully told Marquez in between rounds to let Joel get lured into a false sense of security. Then JMM knocked him out.

Both Casamayor and Juan Diaz are better wins than David Diaz. It's silly to argue with that. There's nothing wrong with posting that.

Whether haters would crucify Pacquiao is really irrelevant to the point here since I have nothing to do with that.

I already laid out their best wins and the difference is not huge. If you disagree, oh well.

Marquez did look bad vs Casamayor, who I believe was shot or near shot. I really wonder how your outlook of that fight would be if it was Pac, I guarantee you would say he looked bad. I can't prove that but hey. This is why I say Pac is held to a different standard. If Pac had looked like that vs that version of Casamayor and gotten knocked down vs Katsidis, lost to Chris John, struggled vs Diaz, etc, I wouldn't think of him the same way.

I do think the difference is huge because it's not just who Pac beat but how he beat them. Another example, Barrera, night and day between how Pac beat a much fresher, confident Barrera than how JMM struggled to beat a past it Barrera. Plus, JMM wouldn't beat the guys Pac beat at welter, imo. I don't see him beating a guy like Cotto. Still, even if he could have, he never tried it, therefore it doesn't help his resume. He took on decent at best opposition between the Manny or Floyd money fights. Never ever is he close to Pac.

Sasakul is a big win. It's the lineal championship of the world against a damn good fighter. And yes I stand by what I said about Pacquiao destroying a 2003 Barrera. There was a poll here that said what's the best win since Hagler Hearns and Pac MAB I won that poll. Additionally, like I said, I'm not arrogant enough to take away a fighters wins if it's not a grotesque robbery.
