I can't say I share your view of the fight. My definition of what a shot fighter and looking bad must differ.

Pacquiao was the better welterweight, as I already stated. Marquez had the better wins at Lightweight. That was the point of my post and I stand by it.

You can't say someone is never close to you if they beat you in a rivalry and also beat other ATG's and HOFers. Again, this isn't Ali-Norton. Anyone pedaling that BS is a *******.

Yes full credit to JMM for having the guts to get in there with a prime Pacquiao (multiple times) instead of ducking the **** out of him for 5 years or however long it was.

Pacquiao has the better wins at Flyweight, Superbantamweight, Featherweight, Superfeatherweight, Lightwelterweight, Welterweight and Juniormiddleweight. Marquez does have the better wins at Lightweight, but he struggled a lot more at LW than Pac did. Manny's lone fight at LW was pretty much a pasting of a young and prime world champion.

It's not even remotely close when you think about it. Pacquiao has so many top wins and fights against the best. He's ridiculously deep and top stacked.

    Ledger of Pac

    -2003 version Barrera (KO)
    -2005 version Morales (L, 7-5)
    -2004 version Marquez (D)
    -2008 version Marquez (SD
    )
    -2009 version Cotto (KO)
    -2009 version Hatton (KO)
    -2007 version Barrera (UD)
    -2006 version Morales (KO)
    -2014 version Bradley (UD)
    -2001 version Ledwaba (KO)
    -1998 version Sasakul (KO)
    -2010 version Margarito (UD)

That's spanning 11 weight classes. And those names and the majority are in their prime or close to their prime.

PAC is already remembered as the greater fighter. We don't need to wait for the future for this.

JMM is an ATG, not arguable.
