Who will be remembered as the greater fighter: Wladimir Klitschko or Riddick Bowe?

I'd favour the Wlad of the last few years to beat Bowe as well.

I'm not as big a fan of Bowe as some people.
Blew his career, and his reputation is mainly based on fighting dumb against a much smaller man. He was in less than ideal shape for his 2nd and 3rd Holy fights. But having said that, if bit for Fan Man I think he would have taken the 2nd.

 

Bowe was the better boxer, but Wald has had the better career.

 

Bowe is overrated, only performed well in a couple of fights, wasn't consistent, couldnt train and keep himself stable.

people say Bowe had potential, but so can be said to a lot of fighters, he didnt apply the potential, we can only judge on what hes done.

H2H Bowe but Wlad is wayyyyyy higher on the p4p lists.

 

Holy's heart problems occured during the first Moorer fight in 94, which was after he'd beaten Bowe in their rematch.

 

Bowe wasn't consistant. He sucked in some of his important fights.

Wlad is a superior fighter and his longevity smashes Bowe's career. WK has one of the longest unbeaten streaks in heavyweight history; his unbeaten streak is longer than Marciano's unbeaten career.

Wlad wins this by some distance.

 

I think Bowe was a class act when on his game, and he reminds me a lot of Toney. Both were great fighters that could have been even greater. Wlad's a good fighter, but I think he's overated due to a weak era, and I think he'd have struggled a bit in the 90's.

How would Wlad have done against he following guys, with each fighter obviously been at their best?

I know I'm going off topic, so if nobody can be bothered to answer, then no worries.

Wlad will be remembered as greater because of his long reign as champ, h2h i dont know not an easy fight for Wlad i would say 50 50 if they fought prime vs prime !

easy answer.alot of peeps dont like wlad but he has dominated unanswered for some years.
the history books will look impressive for him when people look back 50years from now.

 

It takes a special kind of ****** to say that Bowe had a superior resume.

Bowe's resume wasn't stacked, but his wins over Holy eclipse any win of Wlad's.
