All Bowe will be remembered for is famously ducking Lennox Lewis.

Despite being in good fights the above is true.

Bowe did not have a great career. He had potential. His physical possibilities were there, but mentally he did not have the mindset of a great fighter.

Wlad would beat the crap outta that crack head , just like golota did , but without low blows.

Bowe had a lot of potential, but he didn't do everything he could have. Wladimir made mistakes and then did everything he could to get back on top, and stay there.

    Is this guy serious?
For a guy who shared era with Tyson, Foreman, Moore, Morrison, Holyfield and any other good to great fighter, his resume is EXTREMELY crap!
Bowe would wish to have an resume as good as Wlad's.

Larry Donald, Pierre Coetzer, Bert Cooper, Phillip Brown, really?

At least Wlad has an excuse.
What is Bowe's excuse?....he ducked Lennox in the most embarrassing fashion by dropping the belt in the trash bin.
    This thread is a joke.
Chirs Byrd was a better heavy with a superior resume, let alone Wlad.:hi:

Bowe's trilogy with Holyfield will be immortalized in the annals of boxing history for eternity. His legacy is set in stone.

Wlad has no legacy whatsover and he'll quickly fade into obscurity after he gets KO1'd by Deontay Wilder in a couple of years. He'll be thought of in the same vain as other German based boxers like Sven Ottke, Dariusz Whatchamacallit & Henry Maske... guys that had solid careers, but became an immediate afterthought after they retired.

Where have I said that Bowe had a great resume?

All I said, was that Bowe's wins over Holy eclipsed any win that Wlad has.

I also said that Wlad's stats have to be taken into consideration. This is a weak era of the heavy division.

Now you're saying Byrd has a superior resume?

    Why?

Just out of interest, do you think Wlad would have beaten the following fighters at their best:

    Holmes
    Tyson
    Holy
    Ike
    Lewis

    Thanks.

You really think so? Will boxing fans still mention Wladimir Klitschko 25 years after he retires?

Wlad would have utterly destroyed any version of Bowe. Wlad is bigger, faster, hits much harder, and has much better discipline. Bowe was getting owned in both Goloata fights until Andrew went Pollack.

I agree. Wlad at his best would defeat Bowe.

    Landslide.

Bowe had two great wins, but so did Rex Layne and Elmer Rey. He just didn't do enough.

wlad will be remembered as greater, his legacy is def better and his longevity plus management is superlative, Riddick is greater in h2h ability.
