-You said the 4th round and Golota threw the ball combo in the 9th, but your Dino and rarely make sense.

-Not only officially shorter with a smaller reach, in the ring he certainly looked to be at a height and reach disadvantage.

-I can't call Golota more complete and well rounded than Wlad.

No. Thats not what i said at all.
An inch shorther. Hardly a significant difference in height to allow him bob n weave eaiser. He had good defence and upper body movement.
Wlad has one style , can only box from the outside and has a limited punch selection. He has no defence or head movement .
Golota had a full skill set. Offensive and Defensive

This was just a claim by Holy. I'm pretty sure this was never verified. Had it been he wouldn't have been allowed to fight for some time.

You can always tell who not to take seriously when they lump the Klitschko brothers up for no apparent reason when asked specifically about one.

Ha ha, he must of saw this thread and immediately came out of retirement...

In all seriousness why haven't we invented time machines to test out these exact scenarios? I mean what could be a better use of such a thing? ha ha.

Anyways in all seriousness for real I think this is an interesting match up despite those that think strongly one way or the other I really don't know overall. I really wonder if Wlad could beat the Bowe that fought Holyfield in their first fight. He was a warrior in that fight as was Holyfield and I've never seen Wlad tested like that since he became champ...well the times he was tested like that didn't go well for him at all before he changed styles/trainer. Now I'm not saying that's Wlad's fault though; I blame his lack luster/no heart competion for that.

Anyways Wlad will be rated higher because of his reign at the top and lengevity but I can see the Bowe I mentioned above beating Wlad but perhaps any other form of Bowe would lose more times then win so it's not an easy one. Some other good questons would be how would the early 90's Bowe do against today's heavyweights? It's difficult for me to say he'd do badly, in fact I'm pretty sure he'd dominate (not including the Klitchko's in this but all others). Then of course how would Wlad do in the early to mid 90's? I have a feeling he'd also do quite well but I really wonder how he'd do against heavy hitting pressure fighters with good head movement/defensive skills as none really exist today and Wlad hasn't done too well in the past with pressure (then again that was before he changed styles).

Bowe's win over Holyfield is miles above anyone Wlad has beaten.

Agreed. But not his overall career. H2h Bowe would stop him.

Bowe qualities victory over Holyfield and Tubbs is far greater than anything Wlad has accomplished. No version of Wlad beats Bowe!

There was clearly something very wrong with Holy in Holy-Bowe III, I doubt he really had Hep but he was nowhere near 100%

He gassed really quickly & just fell apart, never happened before or since.

:yep This about sums up the very stupid reactions to anyone who even puts BOWE in the brothers class ! Funny thing is even tho TUBS wasn't much he got robbed in the BOWE fight .:deal This is BOWES career . He avoided every big puncher of his generation won the tile and lost the TITAL to a cruiser weight ( the same over rated cruiser who would later need decisions over grandfathers and lose it himself to a light heavyweight )! Then BOWE was beaton BRAIN DEAD by the first decent big fighter he faced in GOLOTA ! The same GOLOTA that never won a major fight :) Those are facts for the ROSE COLORED GLAASES wearing folks :deal:hi:

The brothers? This is about Wlad and a very debate able topic. Vits on the other hand need not even be mentioned with his second rate resume and losses in his two biggest fights.

whilst that sentiment is true, in this case the comment is about the division that includes both Ks.
