How does he have a glass chin? Are you dodging what i said or did you just not see it:

Manny Pacquiao was knocked out two times when he was Pre his Prime.. Roy Jones Jr. was knocked out TWO times when he was Past his Prime.. Very equal yes?

Roy Jones JR will be held in higher regard for his dominance in the sport, and the fact that he was simply untouchable for so many years. I see a lot of naive posts on here from people who simply have not seen enough of Roy Jones Jr. The guy was incredible, and he made top class fighters look like rank amatuers. Pac is clearly not on the same level. PacDBest posts are laughable, he is judging a fighter solely on the twilight of his career.... Supposedly "near his prime"... He was 35 FFS, that is no where near prime for a guy that relies on athletic ability to the extent Roy does. Lets see Pac at 35 and see how he performs. I can tell you now it will not be close to the level that Roy did. Pac at 35 would be an absolute punching bag. Yes, Pac has fought some top fighters, but his overall resume is not comparable to Roy yet. His biggest names are good, but that doesn't put him higher as an ATG bases solely on this fact.

He was KO'd by body punches 2 times? Of course it's cool. I am doing the same thing you're doing, being obnoxious.

Post a reasonable assertion on your opinion, and then you're fine. Kirk did and no one has jumped down his throat.

You also said in the thread Jones was greater, but voted for Pacquiao. See, that's just a bit.....(multiple bad words)

Jones is a legend because of assumption really, everybody (including myself) just assumes he would have done great against the big names at 168 and 175. But in reality Jones has never beaten anybody on the calibre of Morales or MAB in the way that Pac has. Id say Jones is the greater fighter just because of the sheer dominance over good competition, Pac man can creep ahead tho.

Jones beat fighters the caliber of MAB and Morales. I don't agree with that at all. No he didn't KO them. He also didn't lose to them or face them past their prime. Hopkins was probably just outside his prime.

I do see where you're coming from, as KO's are more memorable than UD's. I just disagree on that point.

first of all, it is common sense that those who weighs more are given the symptahy, recognition and pay. My stand is all 3, not a single entity.

i dont have to name names Kg. basically it is pretty straight.

i have nothing against roy, he accomplished far better than pac.
    i just doubt his chin.

and BTW, i dont question your knwledge of boxing, you got PHD in it. mine is pretty basic, boxing is not my stuff. and i am more on academics :good but it doesnt take to be a rocket scientist to figure out that roy got a glass chin. :good

Bernard Hopkins and James Toney are on a par with old MAB and old EM.

If Pac had not been given the draw and the decision in the Marquez fights than would we even be talking about Pac at all. We are all in agreement that both could have gone the other way than what they did, so when you look at it like that, Roy Jones is superior because he never had moments like that. Furthermore, Roy jones was more dominant and looked miles better than Pac ever has ever!
