Roy Jones. He was something to behold at his best, he had that aura of invincibility that only seems to come along once a generation. He always looked a class above, no matter who he was fighting. Yeah he got KO'd twice, but he had clearly lost a step or 10 by then. Johnco, you're posting pictures of Pac knocking Marquez down, in a thread about Roy Jones Jr. and Pac. Totally pointless, and it just shows your ability - or lack thereof - to debate properly. You're the most ignorant, immature nuthugger on ESB. Remember: Jones never lost in his prime, and never came close to doing so. He dominated the divisions he fought in like no other, topped the P4P lists, and was basically untouchable. Pacquiao arguably lost with Marquez twice, and clearly lost to a declining Morales - all in his prime. Yes, here is your cue to post pictures of Morales getting knocked down. Wow, amazing... I can also post pictures of Joe Louis getting knocked out against Rocky Marciano.
that posting was off the wall. that reminds self kill who is up to now under delusional state that jmm won the 2 fights. my bad
There was nothing delusional about it. A lot of people had Marquez winning the first fight and the second fight. Not delusional. You're not a boxing fan, you're a manny fan.
yeah ryt.. 3 kos = 10-7 and 2 ko = 10-8 at rd 3? and em, he won due to headbut.. enough said. my boy beat those elite. move on with your life we got the belt already :good
One, I am a semester away from my masters in Psychology and moving on to getting my doctorate (and have a minor in journalism). You made reference earlier today on my not having "anything else but boxing". This is not the case. I took a semester off to help look for a house with my wife and get some things in order. I am far more into academics than I am boxing (I am into Football more than boxing). But this is a boxing forum not an academic one. That was a bad assumption on your part. I just PROVED that when historians recognize greatness and accomplishments, that the 140 and under category is well represented. Many of the top 15 fighters in history fought at and below those weights for alot of their career. So it's simply not true. I am not gonna address Jones' chin for the 1000th time.
and are you? judges made their decision. cant do anything about it. there was variety of scorings. it is like 50-50 and could go either way. thats why we have judges. it is not like most scored it for jmm and judges scored it for pac  lets us move on. pac got almost murdered on that one and so jmm. close fight
