Who will be the 1st Mainstream boxer to crossover in to UFC near his prime?

I think it will be the other way around...

these kidxs that started doing mma when they were 9 will switch into amateur boxing when they turn 14 or 15.

Chuck Lidell, Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture they are ufc's mainstream stars and they better get new ones soon cuz they are gtting beat up by guys there 18-35 male demographic fans dont like

 

I don't think it will ever happen. If you are a name boxer you can make 4 times as much in boxing as in UFC.

There will never be a mainstream boxer that will crossover, theres just not enough money in it. I do feel however that alot of washed up boxers will continue to try and make the transition to the UFC, it's like leaving your old job to make less money at a new job.

 

They keep putting out cards like Rashad/Bisping as d Main Event...theyd sink faster than you think.. And I love MMA..

I think the question should be the other way around..who would leave the UFC or MMA to put on a pair of Reyes?

I think Anderson Silva can do it...Lyoto..and KJ noons..

There is no money for fighters in MMA, thier top guy Anderson "Spider" Silva makes $200,000 a fight. Most of the guys fighting even on the pay per view shows make under $10,000 a fight.

 

Cintron already said that he would be interested if the money was right.

Cintron was a very good wrestler in high school, and was recruited by some big universities. He has the background to be able to train and do pretty well IMO. I'd love to see it happen - it would be fun to see Cintron blast an MMA guy into next week.

 

If a boxer is mainstream, he's not going to compete in the UFC because there's less money there.

Jesus Christ man , what are you talking about , Randy Couture has never boxed a single round of pro boxing in his life and handed James Toney his ass without breaking sweat , you cannot just turn to MMA for financial gain just because you have good hands , it doesnt work like that , it takes years to hone grappling skills to the level of even the lower echelon of mixed martial artists , and im talking five years minimum , besides , by and large , the money for the top fighters in MMA per fight is around 250 - 400 thousand dollars , compare that to the top boxers in the world and there is no comparison
