I'm not saying he will but can you imagine after all the abuse Wilder gets and the glaring holes in his all around game he explodes a right hand on AJ's jaw and knocks him out?

And Wilder after that run of opponents he has been constantly criticised for then throws one monster right hand is has to be regarded as the real number 1.

Anyway, In answer to the original question, I think Fury is the obvious choice, if Fury is fit, well and back to his best I think his style could give Joshua a lot of problems.

Definetely agree. A boxing careers still there for klitchko if he wants it. Its not out of the question for him to come back and beat joshua because as you say theres little that seperates them. But for me its time to get out...these young guys came along just a bit too late for klitchko. Not because he cant compete...but at 41 with the career hes had is it wise to take them on. Things like the uppercut he took last nite...is it worth risking taking more like that. These heavyweights coming through are getting bigger/stronger and more explosive. Selfishly i say one more go at joshua. But regardless of result its time for him to enjoy life outside of boxing.

    Voted for 'other'.

I don't think Fury will ever come back in a good shape.

    AJ beats Wilder and Parker.

Ortiz is getting older, he looked worse in his last 2 fights vs Scott and Allen.

Maybe it's Daniel Dubois, 19 y.o. carbon copy of Joshua, but more athletic than AJ was at 21-22.

He's still very raw and he's still just a teenager, but if he has Joshua-like mentality and will, he can be serious threat for AJ. Don't underestimate that guy, he will be very good in 4-5 years.

If whyte had abit more power it would be a good fight. id say 70/30 in AJ's favour, whyte would make it personal and maybe get under AJ's skin. id watch a rematch tho

Yep! I also think Wlad would finish the job after hurting him in a rematch.

Fury is the only one that causes him problems barring a flash ko.
And fury vs aj would be a different fight to wlad fury was as aj wouldnt be as wary of furys power as he was with wlad, andbhe would have a lot better output than wk did

Just like everybody else of consequence in the division, he won't fight the guy most likely to best him; King Kong.

I think Ortiz could out punch him, Parker out box him, and Fury out box him although I don't really know about Fury because he hasn't fought since 2015 and gained a **** ton of fat. Wilder depending if he can hurt Joshua first.

AJ is the favorite in all of these fights but this is how I see their chances.

Jennings outpunched ortiz. Landed something like 146 punches to ortiz,s 126. Ortiz is good but takes punches to get his own off. Probably not the best idea against joshua.

A heavyweight that has pop can take him out if he is able to hurt him. He was wide open for the taking in the sixth round. a good finisher would do it. any of the above could do it. Not wanting to bad mouth Joshua...it is just that anyone hurt can be finished. I think Ortiz has a very good chance.
