I expect Floyd to be a little bit more aggressive since he's fighting a smaller opponent.

Marquez is a very smart fighter and Beristain is a good tactician.

Beristain should know that JMM has a better chance of winning by remaining on his feet and win on points than taking the risk and get KAYOED coming in.

JMM will be counter punching on this . . . just my opinion.

one of 2 things. most likely jmm will come forward and force floyd to work the angles, which jmm is superb at catching fighters like manny with great lateral movement or in and out. the other floyd, also a slow starter, stays on the ropes and rolls with the punches and counters the **** out of jmm. floyd has a very good, sneaky left hook and equally as good right hand. jmm might outwork him the first rounds, land acouple of shots, but floyd has a very good habit of turning things around the 2nd half of the fights, like he goes from being strictly defensive and does the opposite the other half and starts landing clean shots. i think he does this possum game to have a physical and mental edge over his opponents like say i took your shots, now you take mine. one of the sneakiest fighters around, but his formula works, you gotta give him that. he's also more of a head puncher, but does good work when he does hit the body. it'll be a much better fight than pacman-hatton i know that for sure

Mayweather is coming out like Gatti styles just because Pacquiao did Hatton wrong, JMM is in some serious trouble

It could really go either way. Floyd could decide to rely on his superior footspeed and movement, (and maybe let his ego get carried away with him in trying to shut up the critics) by darting in and, hoping that slashing forward then pulling back will keep Marquez off balance and leave Floyd looking impressive.

The problem with that is that Floyd will be playing to Marquez' biggest strength, his timing and counterpunching. Of course, since Pac could occasionally be too fast for Marquez to properly counter, Floyd might hope to use that handspeed advantage as well.

Or, Floyd may try to make Marquez abandon his comfort zone by forcing Marquez to come forward and dancing around him all night and potshotting. This however, could take away from Floyd's return and his future paydays, and Floyd's ego may well be tired of criticism, especially if he appears to be afraid to engage a naturally smaller and older man.

I think Floyd will play defense and make Marquez play offense, but there's a legitimate chance Floyd will try to surprise everyone.

Marquez will be on the offensive. Void might start out offensive, but will go back into his shell and leave it to his judges and referee to protect him. Look at Castillo/Void fight #1.

The funny thing about this fight is in the training camp.

How would each camp plan the fight? Each other thinking who will initiate the action.:D

When fighters train . . . they train for all kinds of scenarios that might come up. This is where the trainers' ability comes in.

Quite the opposite. If PBF indeed comes out aggressive then I don't think JMM will know what hit him. His speed and accuracy would trouble him early and considering that a 143lbs Mayweather is probably a harder puncher than a 130lbs Pac, it will be the hardest punches that JMM will have ever felt. Remember that Diaz staggered JMM in the SECOND round of their fight and he's not considered to be a heavy puncher at 135.

I'd have to go with Marquez definitely. When was the last time Mayweather was the agressor in a fight? I seriously can't remember. lol

Floyds going to try to destroy JMM in the early rounds and get KO by an uppercut. Floyd gets a lot of props for taking on a fighter he knows is going to destroy him.

i think floyd will be much more aggressive than what we're
used to. he's fighting a smaller guy with only decent power.
but also, hes fighting to make a point. he wants to be reinstated
as p4p #1 hence him taking this fight to one-up pac. i expect him
to fight more like he did at 135. given the layoff hasnt slowed him
    too much.

I believe PBF will be the one. He probably will test the water first with the smaller JMM, then if all is good with him, he'll get into a brawl. He has to make an impression with all the doubters somehow that he's simply not just a hit and run boxer.
