floyd will try and test the smaller man early. if jmm is unable to counter effectively or floyd feels that juan cant seriously hurt him then floyd will keep pushing the action. if juan can make his power felt then floyd will jump on his bike and avoid any trading for the rest of the fight and will force juan to go after him.

    Very bold statement.
    I admire your bravery.
Who knows, Marquez' uppercut is a thing of beauty.

What Marquez lacks in power he makes up for in accuracy. Both Mayweather and Marquez are similar in this.

Much lesser fighters than Floyd have taken that right uppercut on the button and not gone down. I don't think this punch will be as big of a factor as some believe it to be. Namely the Juan supporters.

It wasn't as brave as it was ludicrous.

Its likely going to be a very technical bout that will go the distance. It will also likely be very boring.

****. i just lost my whole reply. anyway,
    i know marquez
is an extremely accurate puncher, but floyd should be
able to easily negate jmm's offense with his defense. not
only that, i just dont know if marquez has the sting on
him that can earn moneys respect. if that be the case,
look for may to try and bulldoze him to upstage mannys
    last fight.
unfortunately, i think we have to wait at least until we see
them at the weigh-in to have a better picture. i can
imagine juan coming in looking like a barrel-chested
version of himself much like the fight night round 4
    characters.

I'm guessing no one will dare to be the aggressor...

Both standing in there for the whole 3 minutes waiting who will attack first...:D

i think jmm will be more aggressive than pbf. marquez changed his style when he moved up to 135, and i think it'll be the same when he fights floyd

i'm not surprised if it's going to be a snooze fest!

similar to pbf vs dlh! boring fight! only the exciting part was the 12th round!

i want jmm to win to finally add some glory in his resume!

    Entirely correct, I agree.

However, although JMM should not press the action, he should initiate with the jab. He needs to stay busy with the jab all the time to set up his stuff and he also needs to concentrate on defensive.

I pick PBF by CLOSE decision, mainly because JMM is not a welterweight.
