You Britards and your hype. What a joke. Remember Price, the 'next' heavyweight champion of the world.
First person to land on Wilder will have him flailing around the ring (not to say that he doesn't already do that)
Povetkin. Once Wlad retires, I really think he can take over the division. Absolute phenomenal performance he put on against Charr. People really look down on him for his fights with Huck and getting clinched to death by Wlad. At this point, he's looking more focus and trimmed up. I think he's making a strong comeback, and I would love to see him fight Pulev or Haye at some point.
Joshua is still a prospect, I don't think that we should compare him to Povetkin straight away, plus by the time Joshua gets an eventual title shot, Povetkin will likely be way past his peak. However, Joshua still has plenty of time to improve, and with the right surrounding circumstances (absence of the Klitschko bros for example) there is a solid chance of him leaving a significant impact or even possibly ruling the division if he turns out to be good enough.
He might very well beat the other 2, but watching him dizzy opponents with his jab before committing to unload power punches lends to less exciting fights. Note that I admit fighters who are more fun to watch aren't always the best. I just ike to watch gun slinging from the hip types more. I'll be the first to admit Usyk is overall the most polished, and "ready" for a big fight of those three......Usyk is more "ready" than Wilder.
Yes...like Deontay Wilder only I predict Joshuas handlers will gradually step him up...unlike err.....!
Tyson Fury is the best Heavyweight Wlad only knows 2 punches the jab and the straight right. Fury can throw jabs right hands, bodyshots, uppercuts, left hooks, etc etc and in combinations. Wlad is good at beating up smaller fellows at a distance but Fury is the same size as him so the fight will at all times be an inside fight. And Fury is the much better inside fighter because Wlad only has 2 moves that he knows
No one looks to be as good as Wlad on the way up or in the AM's but Wlad is an all time great with wall space reserved at the hall of fame. Oleksandr Usyk looks to be more skilled than Povetkin. He's a 6'3 southpaw who fights at Cruiser for now. The super heavies in the amateur ranks is very deep. Medzhidov is a huge puncher with good skills. Dychko is a mobile 6'8" big man Erislandy Savon out pointed Joshua in the last Olympics, but was robbed.
Really don't know what Luis Ortiz will do but if he ends up fighting and beating Chagaev he may end up taking on a year older version of Wlad. Anyone have any insights on him.
Joshua has far more promise to be something than Wilder. Hell, by the time Joshua is two years into his career he will probably have faced better opponents than Wilder has NOW, after 5 freakin' years!!!
