As it stands, Bernard Hopkins is the only fighter to ever attain Mega Champ status in the sport's history. For those not familiar with the term, to be a Mega Champ you have to be; the WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF champ, ring and lineal champ in your division, as well as the P4P champ. If a fighter is able to attain all of these titles at the same time, he then becomes a Mega Champ.

So, is there any current fighter who can perform such a feat. If so, which fighter has the best chance of doing so?

pbf is the most likely because he is realistically the only p4p no.1 but he is nowhere near interested enough in collecting all the belts.

    so ... nobody

    not pavlik,not haye,not manny pac,not wlad

calzaghe was the only one with the possibility of doing it but he dropped the ibf and only by koing hopkins or winning a very wide ud does he even stand a chance of displacing pbf.

I think Pac and Calzaghe both have decent shots at doing it. Floyd has a good shot if Arum allows the winner of Cotto/Gomez to unify with the winner of Cintron/Margo.

For Pac to turn the trick, he has to beat Diaz, Cambell, and the Katsidis/Casamayor winner as well as hope tha Floyd retires or loses.

For Calzaghe, he has to beat up on Hopkins, beat Bute, and hope that Floyd retires or loses

For Floyd, he has to beat the winner of the Cotto,Margo,Cintron,Gomez tournament, as well as beat the Quintana/Williams II winner.

I agree it wont happen soon, fighters are more interested in relinquishing belts for big fights and big money when the organisations wont sanction the fights

I think pac could do that, he already is no.2 p4p. If he collected the belt of david diaz and opt to fight nate next then he could. The ring mag would strip casamayor of the lineal title and award it to pac. And since floyd is not that active he'll drop from p4p. Joe calzaghe almost did that but he was not that high p4p at that time and he drop the IBF belt

That sucks for Calzaghe. I guess he'll never be a Mega Champ.

He's the interim champ. Diaz is the regular WBC champ.
