I'm telling you guys James Degale is the truth..signed, sealed & delivered. If I was Team Degale, I would do exactly what they're doing and being smart with match-ups because what's the rush? But being that I am only a fan, I'm a little frustrated that he's not more active and different styles of opposition haven't been brought in, like a slick southpaw puzzle or a tough journeyman who doesn't stop stalking because I want to see James adjust in the middle rounds with keeping the left hand high and then piping that lead left..the blueprint to defending and then exposing any bumrushers. We'll have to wait but take it from me: Chunky is the real deal!
Where is Joe Murray anyway? There's almost no talk about that guy. Honestly, I hated him and all his bull**** build up, but that Horton fight made me really sit up and take note. Awesome performance, even if he is still a bit too green and arrogant.
Joe Murray is another one who excites me, tell you what we've got some brillient prospects in this country, just can't wait till they all start stepping up and taking over the world. lol That might be going over the top a bit, but i'm really feeling positive about the talent coming through. I just wish they were a bit more active which would help in their development. Degale and Murray are my two favourites (I like Gavin as he's talented aswell but i see some 'issues' with him) I'm feeling their upside potential...Olympic pedigree and all. But i'll keep my praise on the low so I don't jinx them.
Gavin's got some serious balls, man. It might land him in trouble with some fights later in his career but the way he reacted when he was cut was awesome. Dangerous though.
Skills pay bills and there ain't another fighter in Britian who has skills like Frankie.. He'll not lose for a long long time,What is crazy is he's looked class attacking fighters which is not his game, When he fights guys trying to knock him out is when you'll see the best of him, People have only seen 50% of what Frankie really has. Big Pricey will be almost impossible to beat for anyone on these shores, His height,Reach and power are fine assets and he neutrilises opponents with ease, He'll look even better when he's stepped up.. Chunky is a good fighter, Jeffries just needs time to adjust to the pro's and BJS is a little dark horse, The kid has all round ability and can whack a little too, He just needs to find his proper weight, He shouldn't be fighting above middleweight though..
If degale meets george groves he'll lose! I think groves is the next big thing in british boxing. I love his style!
There is nothing like a thread with positivity that makes you wonder why some people want to think of losing rather than winning...:barf Let's celebrate what they have achieved and enjoy what fighters we have as they learn, develop and succeed...:happy
Amen on Frankie and the same goes for Chunky these boys are classy counter punchers and its hard to look good against guys that are happy to take the good payday on offer. Now they're moving on it will highlight the serious potential those lads have. Pricey can bang, only big larry can match his power amongst the prospects at heavy but Pricey's power is much more controlled and he's a skilled operator. Little Joe Murray's got a cushty situation, got no pressure with having little exposure and can get on with learning his trade. Billy Joe needs to sort his hand and yes his fighting weight out, step back and pick his shots the kids young he's got a bright future. Compare the amount of great prospects we have compared to the couple they have in the U.S and we're doing ok
