There are a number of questions in this post. With Floyd, Pacman, And Wlad seemingly finished, fighters like Froch not having long left, who will be the new pound for pound king? Ward? Is there anyone fighting now who you think could go on to dominate the pound for pound like Floyd has for so long. Is there anyone who can demand huge figures for their fights and really put boxing back on the map. Just interested in people's thoughts. I am excited about a new era. I hope the heavyweight division can start to produce something.
Ward, possibly if he would beat GGG, than Kovalev and Stevenson he would be P4P #1 for sure, but even with Kovalev and Stevenson win he would take that spot.
Too many possible candidates. Lomachenko, Kovalev, GGG(if he manages to score a big fight before he's 40), Ward(if he doesn't retire for 3 years after his next fight), Frampton, Crawford, Alvarez, Garcia, Matthysse, Broner(one loss isn't the end) and many more.
hes a good fighter walters but hes also a massive fw fighter, i cant see him moving up to sfw and lw and being as good. but if he beats lomachenko hes up there.
Not those. + Rigondeaux Those will certainly be on p4p list. It's suprisingly hard to tell, who will be ahead among them.
Wins over Pascal, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Taylor, Johnson, and Groves. Feel he belongs in the p4p list not to high though.
Immediately: Ward, GGG, Rigondeaux. More down the line: Lomachenko, Thurman, Frampton. Way down the line: Anthony Joshua.
Andre Ward is the man right now. He's second to Floyd while Floyd is active and then could hold the mantle if he keeps fighting.
The next three to five years - Andre Ward or Gennady Golovkin The next five to ten years - Vasyl Lomachenko, Rigondeux or Kovalev
