I think a big difference with Henderson is that he is deadly with the standup.

When you have to worry about getting your head punched clean off, as well as gnp, and the prospects of being worn down on the ground to return to standing where he is trying to take your head off, there is a huge difference. This is what makes Henderson a natural finisher.

So, all chael really is going to do is go for the takedown, all Anderson Silva has to do is keep it standing ala vintage Liddell vs. Tito.

Also, Nate was going to want the fight on the ground. It is a traditional wrestler vs. BJJ matchup.

Nah Nate tried to abandon being on ground but everytime he stood up Chael was relentless. Its one of those fights where he completely manhandled his opponent where you dont even remember about his prior showing against Maia. And Nate is a big stong guy at MW possibly the strongest.

Excellent post and I totally agree. I think people's hate for Silva now is blinding them. Sonnen isn't gonna hold Silva down for 5 rounds. In fact, if Sonnen is going to be as agressive as he says he'll be, I think we will see a KO from Silva this time.

In response to the question, no one at 185 imo. Shogun at 205 probably.
