I think Mayweather Pacquiao destroyed the viability of PPV boxing. The largest PPV audience ever and we got ripped off with a boring run and hug fest.

That was all Haymon's plan all along...make Floyd fight a boring, mundane fight on PPV so everyone will insist on no more boxing PPVs...Then Haymon will boast how great PBC is (and how its on FREE TV)...Telling ya, Haymon is a genius...like the guy that invented New Coke only to promote Coca Cola Classic's remarkable return...!!!

    Wait...

So are you upset at boxing being on "free TV" again or what? You prefer PPV?

No I'm all for boxing on free tv & ppv.

What I'm saying is Haymon had Mayweather deliberately fight a terrible fight so people will say to rid us of PPV. Haymon will then say that he has FREE boxing on TV.

Sometimes you have to upset the people before you make them happy (the Coca Cola Reference)

Well, I guess soon GGG english will be as good as Pacquiao. Canelo of course and someone in the HW division and maybe Crawford.

Too many possible candidates. Thurman, Lomachenko, Alvarez, Crawford, Frampton, Kovalev, Brook, Porter(losing a close tough fight isn't the end), Maidana(still could offer many big exciting fights), Broner, Khan and many more.

People said the same thing after Lewis vs Tyson and also said far worse after DLH vs Mayweather, look where we are today. Most of the people that ordered know that Mayweather is a defensive fighter. Only the clueless idiots didn't know this. Unlike 2002 and 2007, fights are literally all over the internet now and easily viewed via YouTube.
